#WriteOn Seminar-Workshop 2023
THE BLOOM, the official student publication of the Sorsogon State University – Castilla Campus burgeoned once more after six long years as they’ve administered the #WriteOn Seminar-Workshop 2023 with the theme : “Forging 21st Century Student Writers through Innovative, Creative, and Responsible Campus Journalism” held at the Farmer’s Training Center of Sorsogon State University-Castilla Campus
The seminar-workshop aimed to hone writers and enhance their journalistic writing skills in different write-ups such as Editorial, Feature, News and Sports writing as well as Photojournalism and Layout.
It was attended by speakers who were professionals in their line of expertise such as; Junje Marifosque for Editorial writing; Xaris Faith Marianito for News Writing; Monaliza Alfonso for Feature Writing; Stewart Desalesa for Sports Writing; Sandy Millare tor Photojournalism and Neil Angelo Fullente for Layouting.
The said training-workshop selected three (3) best written outputs in each category and was awarded with certificate and medal. The seminar-workshop ended, students equipped and evermore determined to fulfill their endeavors as campus journalists.
