Hon. Ronnel Lim, the Municipal Mayor of Gubat, Sorsogon, held a courtesy visit to SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, today, October 26, 2023.
During the visit, Mayor Lim expressed the willful intention of LGU-Gubat to establish a future agreement with SorSU relative to the seaweed research project with the hope that the University extends its expertise and resources to further explore, revitalize, and strengthen the seaweed research development, farming, and production in the Municipality of Gubat.
In response, President De Jesus earnestly affirmed the institution’s support of the vision of the LGU-Gubat and is open to forging a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for future research collaborations and other joint projects & activities.
