SorSU VPAF leads 1st Quarter Administration and Finance Meeting for 2024

In efforts to monitor the performance and accomplishments of selected administrative services, the Sorsogon State University Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance (VPAF) through the leadership of Vice President Mr. Gerald E. Fulay, JD, conducted the 1st Quarter SorSU Administrative and Finance meeting on April 16, 2024 at the SorSU Old Board Room.

The meeting began with the opening remarks and report from VP Fulay, followed by the presentations per unit starting with Dr. Catherine A. De Castro (Director, Planning Management Office), Ms. Rosalie D. Labitag (Supervising Administrative Officer [SAO]- Finance Division), and Ms. Analyn Dometita (Accountant II) for the discussion of quality management initiatives. Next were reports from Engr. Daryll M. Hita (Project Management Office [PMO]), Prof. Riche Justine P. Duran (Director, Gender and Development), Prof. Romeo SE. Mendoza (Director, Business Affairs Office), Prof. Saturnino C. Carranza (Director, Disaster Risk Reduction Management and Climate Change Office), Mr. Daryll A. Tee (IT Officer, Management Information System [MIS]), Dr. Ma. Sylisa J. Estur (Chief Administrative Officer [CAO] – Administrative Division), and Dr. Christopher Jaramiel (Director, General Services and Maintenance Office).

Also in attendance are Dr. Leny D. Berdin (CAO – Finance Division), Dr. Maria Lourdes G. Barrozo (SAO – Administrative Division), Prof. Abner L. Dellosa (Head, Human Resource Management Office), Ms. Gloria B. Despuig (Budget Officer), Ms. Marie Susan D. Caudilla (Cashier), Ms. Elsa D. Gredona (Head, Records Office), Mr. Jared Asael F. Gacosta (Supply Officer), Prof. Roberto V. Guides (Director, MIS), Ms. Catherine D. Buenaflor (Internal Auditor III), Mr. Arvin B. Pura (AO V/ BAC Secretariat), and Engr. Rowena H. Beltran (PMO).

Other discussions centered on updates and preparation of proposals for the conduct of activities requiring school funds, updates on PBB 2022/2023, quality management improvements and other matters related to procurement and personnel. (SorSU PIO)
