The Artificer, the official student publication of Sorsogon State University (SorSU)–Sorsogon City Campus, along with 850 campus journalists, gathered to showcase skills in the comeback of the 19th Luzonwide Higher Education Press Conference (LHEPC) at Villa Caceres Hotel, Naga City on March 19-21, 2024.
After securing their spots in the recently concluded 21st Regional Tertiary Schools Press Conference (RTSPC), the LHEPC qualifiers from The Artificer earned the following awards in their respective events:

The 19th LHEPC launched with the theme, “AI & Ethics: Shaping the Future of Campus Journalism in the Digital Age.” The event highlighted 13 individual categories with 146 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) from Luzon including participants from Cebu and Davao.
