About 2,135 Sorsogon State University National Service Training Program (NSTP) Graduates from the Civil Welfare Training Service (CWTS), and Literacy Training Service (LTS) attended the NSTP Graduation Ceremony of Sorsogon City Campus last June 3, 2023, at SorSU Covered Court.

The attendees composed of 1,762 from CWTS and 373 from LTS are from the four colleges of the Sorsogon City Campus, namely, College of Business Management (CBM), College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), College of Teacher Education and Midwifery (CoTEdM) and College of Technology (COT).

The program highlights include the opening remarks from the SorSU Sorsogon City Campus Director Dr. Telesforo D. Escoto, and the message from the keynote speaker Dr. Orlando D. Doncillo, Dean of the College of Technology. In his speech, he expressed his congratulations to the successful completers and encouraged students to continue embracing opportunities that will come their way, and persevere to live with social responsibility as well as moral ethics to themselves and their communities.

This was followed by the Presentation and Confirmation of the Graduates, Awarding of Certificates, message of commitment from Mr. Arjay Janoras, the President of KAAGAPAY NSTP Volunteers, and the Pledge of Commitment led by Mr. Mark Darrel A. Ergina, the Disaster Risk Reduction Management Coordinator of the Campus. The pledge emphasizes the commitment of the NSTP graduates to continue serving the Filipino people through the knowledge, skills, and values gained in the program, as well as upholding the principles of social responsibility, social justice and nationalism.
