To fully orient and provide an up-to-date understanding of the SorSU VMGO, policies and guidelines, as well as student rights and relevant services, Sorsogon State University – Laboratory High School (SorSU-LHS) held an orientation, participated by students in all grade levels in JHS and SHS, on August 17, 2023, at the SorSU Audio-visual Hall, Sorsogon City Campus.
Dr. Telesforo D. Escoto (Campus Director, Sorsogon City Campus) commenced the orientation with his welcome remarks before the LHS student-attendees, faculty members, and SorSU officials/personnel. It proceeded with an inspirational message from SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, in which she nostalgically shared her journey as an alumna of SorSU-LHS (then Sorsogon College of Arts and Trades) and proudly narrated how the institution transformed into the only full-fledged University in the Province of Sorsogon.
