The Hospitality Management Society of the Sorsogon State University College of Business Management celebrated Day 2 of their Hospitality Management Society Week on May 3, 2024 at the covered court.
The day started with a Zumba session, priming everyone for the day’s activities. Following this, the guidelines for the Team Building were laid out, ensuring clarity before immersing into the activity. Subsequently, the HMS Team Building officially commenced, fostering camaraderie within the hospitality management community.
Part 2 of Day 2 shifted to elegance for the Gala Night. Mr. Novie F. Evasco (HMS Adviser), delivered the opening remarks. In his message he said, “A champion isn’t made when things are easy, champions are forged through fire, through defeat, through the struggle of having to deal with the worst things imaginable and not running away from it.”
It was followed by an uplifting message from Dr. Telesforo D. Escoto (Campus Director, Sorsogon City) and an inspirational message from Lester Jan Paolo E. Escasinas (HMS President). Selected HM students graced the stage with their cotillion dance performance which set the stage for the much-anticipated HMS Ball. This was then followed by the awarding ceremony, where the winners were announced.
