University produces 7 newly Licensed Fisheries Professionals — SorSU Graduate Hernandez ranks Top 7 nationwide

Sorsogon State University (SorSU) proudly congratulates MS. GLAIZA RETAGA HERNANDEZ, a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries graduate, for victoriously ranking Top 7 nationwide as well as the other six SorSU passers during the October 2023 Licensure Examination for Fisheries Professionals conducted last October 25-26, 2023.

According to the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC), 716 out of 2,124 examinees successfully passed the licensure examination. SorSU’s overall performance rating is 43.75%, which exceeds the national passing percentage of 33.71%.
SorSU’s newly-licensed Fisheries Professionals are as follows:

  3. Enero, Edmund N.
  4. Escario, Salvador D.
  5. Hipos, April Joy D.
  6. Resco, Daniella F.
  7. Villa, Lorie Joy G.

Kudos to SorSU-Magallanes Campus, headed by Prof. Lynn C. Mendoza (Campus Director, SorSU-Magallanes Campus) and Prof. Elden G. Orgela (Program Chair, Fisheries); faculty members, mentors and lecturers; and most importantly, the board passers for their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to succeed on the examination.
