In connection with the University’s efforts to revise and update its manuals, the Technical Working Group (TWG) for the Administration Manual conducted its initial meeting last February 20, 2024, at the Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance (VPAF).
It was attended by University Officials namely Mr. Gerald E. Fulay, JD, (VPAF), Dr. Leny D. Berdin (Chief Administrative Officer), Dr. Ma. Sylisa J. Estur (Director, General Administrative Support Services), Prof. Abner L. Dellosa (Head, Human Resource Management and Development Office), Prof. Lynn C. Mendoza (Campus Director, Magallanes), Prof. Ma. Elena C. Demdam (Campus Director, Bulan), and Atty. Mary Joy C. Bongapat (Acting Board Secretary/Legal Affairs). The meeting aimed to review the Administration Manual as input to the Sorsogon State University (SorSU) Code. The SorSU Code is a compendium of policies governing the affairs of the University.
Further, the Administration Manual contains updated policies to guide the effective and efficient delivery of the services of the university.
The TWG for the Administration Manual review is one of the three TWGs created for the revision of the University Manuals – the other two are the Academic Manual and the Research, Extension, and Training (RET) Manual. (SorSU PIO)
