Institutional publications such as newsletters, books/journals showcasing research and extension initiatives were shared by the participating State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) during the Exchange of Publications activity with Sorsogon State University as part of the 6th Sorsogon Research, Development and Extension Conference 2024 (SorDeCon) on March 7, 2024 at the SorSU Sorsogon City Campus, Audio Visual Hall.
Librarians namely Ms. Ann Charmaine B. Visitacion and Ms. Mara Joy S. Dominguez (Library Staff) from Partido State University along with Ms. Laila A. Belardo and Ms. Fleurdeliz H. Mirabona from Bicol University attended the event and shared several publications in the line of research development and extension.
On the other hand, SorSU, through University Librarian Ms. Erlinda P. Enguerra led the distribution of the SorSU publications (Kaadman 2021, Vol. 5, Issue No.1, R&D Book of Abstracts, SEAMREEC Book of Abstracts and the Sorsogon Multidisciplinary Research Journal Vol. 1 Issue No. 1) to other SUCs together with SorSU President Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, Vice President for Research, Extension and Training, Dr. Ryan V. Dio and Ms. Frances Grace J. Jetomo (Head, Publication & Knowledge Management).
This gesture is part of the efforts to promote and further research development and extension information of respective SUCs to the general public. (SorSU PIO)
