Presidents and Officers-in-Charge of different State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) gather for the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) 4th Executive Board Meeting at the Manila Marriott Hotel, Newport World Resorts, Pasay City last December 5, 2023.
Sorsogon State University President Dr. Geraldine De Jesus attended the meeting alongside other PASUC Region V Presidents namely, Dr. Baby Boy Benjamin D. Nebres III of Bicol University (BU), Dr. Alberto N. Naperi of Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA), Dr. Alex H. Navarroza of Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology (BISCAST), and Dr. Arnel B. Millesca of Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology (DEBESMSCAT), and Dr. Raul G. Bradecina of Partido State University (ParSU).
Presided by PASUC President Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, the agenda was composed of a presentation of plaques of Appreciation relative to the 2023 National State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA), discussions about the preparation for the 2024 Culture and the Arts Festival, and updates on the Increase of Tuition and Other School Fees (TOSF).
During the second part of the meeting, a short thanksgiving ceremony and traditional exchange of blessing took place where different SUC Presidents of the country actively participated – marking another successful academic year for each State University and Colleges. (SorSU PIO)
