The Sorsogon State University (SorSU) family expresses its deepest gratitude to the Honorable Senator Loren B. Legarda for selecting SorSU as one of the recipients of the Tulong Dunong Program for State Universities and Colleges (TDP-SUCs).
Last December 14, 2023, SorSU received a total of Php 1,300,000.00 for scholarship grants to selected and qualified SorSUeños. Upon its release, 174 students were the beneficiaries of the stipend. This month (January 2024), Sen. Legarda once again provided the institution with Php 1,000,000.00 worth of funding for scholarship and financial assistance.
Truly, Senator Legarda’s continued expression of support is instrumental to the welfare and holistic development of the SorSUeños, and has significantly created a lasting contribution to the academic ventures of our student-beneficiaries.
