Celebrating Women’s Month: SorSU GAD-Sorsogon City Campus offers free wellness, self-care services

In celebration of National Women’s Month 2026, Sorsogon State University (SorSU), through the Office of Gender and Development (GAD) – Sorsogon City Campus, treated SorSU-SCC employees to a two-day wellness and self-care activity titled “WE (Women and Everyone) Wellness: Serbisyo ni Juana,” held on March 11–12, 2026, at the SorSU Covered Court and SorSU Social Hall, Sorsogon City Campus.

As part of the month-long celebration, SorSU personnel received complimentary wellness services, including massage, nail care, and haircuts—providing participants, especially women employees, an opportunity to relax, recharge, and practice self-care.

Through initiatives like Serbisyo ni Juana, the university continues to foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes the welfare, empowerment, and holistic well-being of the SorSU community.

By recognizing the importance of rest, personal care, and wellness, the university also acknowledges the dedication and hard work of its personnel, reaffirming its commitment to supporting the physical and mental well-being of employees.

The activity further strengthened awareness on the value of self-care, accessible health services, and workplace support systems, encouraging employees to prioritize their well-being while continuing to contribute to a productive and gender-responsive academic community. (SorSU PIO & GAD Office)
