368 Future SorSUeños Take SorSU-LHS Admission Test for SY 2026–2027

The Sorsogon State University–Laboratory High School successfully conducted its Junior High School Admission Test today, February 7, 2026, marking another important step in welcoming the next batch of SorSU-LHS students for A.Y. 2026–2027.

A total of 368 examinees showcased their readiness and determination as they took the SorSU–Laboratory High School Admission Test (SorSU-LHSAT) at the Sorsogon State University–Sorsogon City Campus – College of Technology Building.

The admission test was smoothly facilitated by the SorSU Admission Services Unit, headed by Dr. Sherill Gilbas, in collaboration with the College of Teacher Education–Laboratory High School Department (CoTEd-LHS) led by Dr. Aldrin Estonanto. Successful examinees who will qualify for admission shall be grouped into two (2) sections for the incoming school year.

To ensure the safety, security, and well-being of examinees, parents, examiners, proctors, and key personnel, the SorSU Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Safety and Security Services Unit, and Health Services Unit, in coordination with the SorSU College Red Cross Youth Council (CRCYC), were strategically deployed within and around the College of Technology Building throughout the examination period.

The SorSU Admission Services Unit and the LHS Department commend the enthusiasm and discipline shown by the examinees, as well as the support extended by parents and school personnel throughout the admission process.
