Pursuant and fully compliant with the prescribed minimum requirements stipulated in CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 33, s. 2021, entitled: “Policies, Standards, and Guidelines for the Bachelor Science in Fisheries (BSF) Program,” Sorsogon State University – Magallanes Campus (SorSU-MC) has been officially awarded by the Commission on Higher Education – Regional Office V (CHED-ROV) with Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) to offer Bachelor of Science in Fisheries (BSF) Program effective Academic Year 2024-2025.
The University’s BS Fisheries is designed to study the concepts in Fisheries Science, primarily aiming to hone skills in aquaculture, capture fisheries, post-harvest fisheries, aquatic ecology & resource management, and other fisheries-related fields. (SorSU PIO)
