Overview
At Sorsogon State University, we are committed to promoting decent work and fostering economic growth. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality employment opportunities, fair wages, and safe working conditions.
To support this goal, we actively work to eliminate discrimination in the workplace through comprehensive policies that ensure equal rights, provide clear appeal processes, and uphold labor rights. Strong collaboration and partnerships between the administration, faculty, and non-teaching personnel are achieved through various policies and strategies championing SDG 8 principles. Some of the primary highlights are the Collective Negotiation Agreement, Appeal Process, policy against discrimination, living wage, equivalent rights outsourcing, among others. Our dedication to these values helps create a fair and inclusive environment for all members of our community.
