Sorsogon State University – Bulan Campus successfully carried out Oplan Brigada: Campus Cleaning Days on January 12 – 13, 2026, as part of its preparations for the opening of classes for the Second Semester of Academic Year 2025 – 2026.
The activity was conducted pursuant to an official order issued by the Office of the Campus Director, calling for the collective participation of faculty members, administrative staff, and student leaders. The initiative emphasized shared responsibility and institutional solidarity in ensuring a safe, orderly, and conducive learning environment.
Throughout the two-day activity, participants worked together in cleaning classrooms, hallways, and common areas across the campus. Student leaders, together with members of the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC), actively supported the effort by assisting in heavy cleaning tasks and coordinating work assignments, demonstrating discipline, teamwork, and volunteerism.
Oplan Brigada reflects the Bulan Campus’s commitment not only to academic excellence but also to environmental responsibility and community cooperation. By fostering a culture of bayanihan and preparedness, the initiative ensured that campus facilities were ready to welcome students and faculty for the start of the second semester.
