As part of the four-day Luzon-wide activity of CHED IAS on Orientation on the Guidelines for Foreign Travel of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) Personnel (Luzon Leg), the Commission on Higher Education – International Affairs Service (CHED IAS) delegation & staff, speakers, International Relations Office (IRO) Directors of various SUCs from Regions I-V, and other key personnel, paid a courtesy call to Sorsogon State University (SorSU) Top Management Executives, headed by Dr. Telesforo D. Escoto (Campus Director – Sorsogon City Campus), together with Dr. Ryan V. Dio (Vice President for Research, Extension and Training), Dr. Susan S. Janer (Dean, SorSU Graduate School), and Ms. Myrna D. Leoncito (Director, SorSU Public Information Office). Following the cordial welcome, the delegates, assisted by SorSU officials, also visited the prominent SorSU University Library today, March 21, 2024, at the SorSU Sorsogon City Campus.
Moreover, several publications from the SorSU University Library were given to the esteemed visitors, such as Kaadman 2021 (Vol. No. 5, Issue No. 1), R&D Book of Abstract 2021-2022, SEAMREEC Book of Abstracts, and Sorsogon Multidisciplinary Research Journal 1st Issue.
Significantly, Dr. Vivien L. Chua (Director, SorSU IRO) is also among the IRO Director-participants of the four-day Luzon-wide event of CHED IAS held in the City of Sorsogon. (SorSU PIO)
