Today, October 16, 2024, officials from the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) Regional Office V conducted preliminary assessment of the Land Use Development and Improvement Plan (LUDIP) of Sorsogon State University – Bulan Campus, and monitored the implementation of the National Service Training Program (NSTP) and the Student Affairs & Services.
The CHEDROV team was composed of Engr. Janet N. Naag, OIC-Chief Education Program Specialist, Ms. Alice M. Nieto, Education Supervisor, and Ms. Nancy K. Fernandez, Senior Economic Development Specialist.
As part of the Technical Working Group for LUDIP Implementation Monitoring, Ms. Arminda G. Dineros of the Municipal Planning & Development Office (MPDO) and Ms. Kelly C. Tan of the Municipal Environment & Natural Resources (MENRO) of the Local Government Unit of Bulan also participated in the event. They provided insights on the status of compliance of the LUDIP with relevant laws and regulations.
The visit fostered meaningful discussions and recommendations from the visiting team to improve the implementation of the LUDIP, and to further strengthen the programs, projects and activities under the NSTP and the Student Affairs & Services.
