On June 3, 2025, the Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) delegates, led by Ms. Cynthia Gayya (Chief, Science Education Institute), paid a courtesy visit to SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, at the office of the University President, Sorsogon State University.
The visit was held in connection with the upcoming DOST-SEI Project STAR Workshop on Language Strategies in Teaching Science and Mathematics, scheduled to take place on June 4-6, 2025, at Sorsogon State University.
Joining Ms. Cynthia Gayya during the visit were members of the DOST-SEI team: Ms. April Valdez (Senior Science Research Specialist), Mr. Mark John Paul Capistrano (Senior Science Research Specialist), Ms. Love Joy Pascua (Science Research Specialist II), Ms. Monira Samaupan (Science Research Specialist II) and Ms. Rose Jean Morillo (Project Technical Assistant IV).
