On March 26, 2025, Ms. Jesusa Joyce N. Cirunay, RPh (OIC-Deputy Director General for Field Regulatory Operations Office, FDA) along with Ms. Mary Christine C. An (Food and Drug Regulation Officer IV), visited SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus at the Office of the University President, to discuss the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) ongoing efforts to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The meeting centered on how the FDA can assist MSMEs in understanding regulatory compliance, obtaining necessary FDA licenses, and successfully registering their products. Both the Sorsogon State University and the FDA emphasized the importance of guiding small businesses through the essential processes to ensure product safety and adherence to quality standards.
