Day 3 of the Joint IDIL & IMLD Conference 2025 engaged participants in comprehensive plenary talks on multilingual education practices and a learning session on research publications, including “Unshrinking the Mother Tongue: Implementing MLE in Monolingual Schools” and “Integrating Multilingual Education Principles and Practices into Education Systems” delivered by Dr. Karla Smith (SIL International) and Dr. Carol Benson (SIL International), respectively.

Additionally, a special session focused on research publications called “Publishing without Perishing: A Learning Session for Early Career Researchers” was led by Mr. Antonio Igcalinas, Dr. Fernigil Colicol (College of Technology and Oceanography, Mindanao State University – Tawi-Tawi), Dr. Smith, Dr. James A. Smith (SIL International), Dr. Doris Payne (Certified Senior Linguistics Consultant, SIL Global & University of Oregon), and Dr. Thomas Payne (Certified Senior Linguistics Consultant, SIL Global & University of Oregon).
