Overview
The establishment of the Career and Job Placement Services/Industry Linkages and Development Office (ILDO) of the University (separate from the internship office) is a response not only on the actualization of the vision and mission of the College but also on the present demand of the times and the goals set forth in Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2017-2022, AmBisyon Natin 2040 and the United Nation’s Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
It is specifically conceptualized and designed to facilitate the development of the career and employability of its students during and after their stay in the institution. The focus then of its operation is for the office be an instrument in preparing the student’s career while are pursuing their chosen profession and beyond. The aim is to ensure that every graduate of the institution is ready to be part of the world of work.

With the ultimate goal of securing employment prospects, SorSUeño job applicants across Sorsogon Province attended the 𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐔 𝐉𝐎𝐁 𝐅𝐀𝐈𝐑 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 of Sorsogon State University, the 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙖𝙮 𝙋𝙪𝙨𝙤, organized by SorSU Career and Job Placement/ILDO – OSDS and in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), at SorSU Covered Court and Social Hall, Sorsogon City Campus last August 8, 2023.

The Sorsogon State University (SorSU) – Career and Job Placement/ILDO Services Unit, under the Office of the Student Development and Services (OSDS), in collaboration with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) – LGU Sorsogon City, respectfully informs all SorSUeño Graduates/Alumni/Job Seekers and PESO Applicants about the upcoming JOB FAIR 2024 with the theme, “Bridging Futures: Sorsogon State University Graduates,” on July 17, 2024 (Wednesday), from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, at the SorSU Covered Court, Sorsogon City Campus.
