The Provincial Government of Sorsogon, under the leadership of Governor Edwin Hamor, in partnership with Sorsogon State University, will present Softly Lit, a candlelight pre-Christmas choral concert in celebration of World Choral Day. The event will take place on December 14, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the mini amphitheater of the Provincial Museum.
The concert will feature Himig SorSUeños, together with other voices from around the world, showcasing the beauty and power of choral music. Adding to the evening’s program, the Camalig Strings Ensemble will perform as special guest artists, enriching the concert with their musical artistry.
This initiative forms part of the Provincial Government’s Kagandahan Program, which highlights culture, harmony, and community spirit through the arts. Organizers have assured that VIP and Patron seats will be assigned to ensure a comfortable and memorable concert experience for attendees.
