A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) ceremonial signing on Sustainable Actions for the Ecology of Ticao-Burias Pass Protected Seascape (SAVE TBPPS) program between and among Sorsogon State University (SorSU), World Wide Fund For Nature – Philippines (WWF-Philippines) Donsol Field Office, and the Municipality of Magallanes took place today, February 14, 2023, at the SorSU Board Room, Sorsogon City Campus.
The collaboration among SorSU, WWF-Philippines, and LGU-Magallanes is intended to strengthen the protection and conservation of Ticao-Burias Pass Protected Seascape (TBPPS), pursuant to Republic Act No. 11038, otherwise known as the Expanded National Integrated Protected Areas System (ENIPAS) Act of 2018.
SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, represented the Sorsogon State University, while Hon. Mayor Maria Elena Ramona M. Ragrario, Municipal Mayor of Magallanes and Mr. Manuel E. Narvadez Jr. – Program Manager of WWF-Philippines Donsol Integrated Conservation Program (DICP) represented LGU – Magallanes and WWF – Philippines, respectively. (SorSU PIO)
