The Human Resource Management and Development Office of Sorsogon State University conducted an onboarding session for the newly hired faculty members for the first semester of Academic Year 2022–2023 today, August 19, 2022, at the SorSU Audio Visual Hall, Sorsogon City Campus.
Fifty-eight new instructors were welcomed and oriented on relevant university policies relative to flexible learning, vision, mission, and policy statement, duties, responsibilities, and mandates, as well as other human resource matters, including policies on attendance, leaves, service credits, salaries, benefits, deductions, and privileges.
Present during the event were Dr. Jhonner Ricafort (Vice President for Academic Affairs), Dr. Telesforo Escoto (Campus Director of Sorsogon City Campus), Dr. Abner Dellosa (Head of Human Resource Management Office), and Professor Ma. Crisanta Mella-Jarque (OIC Director of the Office of Student Development Services).
