Sorsogon State University achieved notable recognition at the PDSFI 4th Quarter National Dancesport Championship, attributed to the outstanding performance of Prof. Tomas M. Encinares Jr. and Ms. Stephanie H. Olivar (BSTM-4C). They demonstrated their exceptional skills at the event held at the PhilSports Multi-Purpose Arena, Pasig City on October 19, 2024.
The duo achieved an impressive victory by winning gold in the Teacher-Student Latin Category. Additionally, they showcased their versatility by securing 6th place in the Grade D-CR Latin Category and reaching the quarterfinals in the Grade C Latin categories during the championship held on October 20, 2024.
Facing competition from over 144 teams, their exceptional performance brought immense pride and honor to the university.
