The Union of Public Servants of Sorsogon State University – Bulan Campus marked the close of the year with a meaningful Gift Giving and Year-End Party on December 19, 2025, held at the SorSU-BC Social Hall.
The activity brought together faculty members, staff, and students in a celebration that underscored gratitude, solidarity, and public service.
The day commenced with a Holy Mass, offered as a thanksgiving for the collective accomplishments of the campus throughout the year. The Mass was sponsored by the Bachelor of Public Administration program in celebration of its successful AACCUP Level III Phase II accreditation, an achievement that reflects the program’s sustained commitment to academic excellence and quality assurance.
The highlight of the event was the Adopt-A-Child Project, a heartwarming initiative spearheaded by Bachelor of Public Administration students. Children were invited to the campus for a Christmas celebration filled with laughter and joy, featuring parlor games, prizes, food, and gift-giving. The young guests delighted in the activities and went home with bright smiles, bringing with them gifts such as toys, slippers, and shoes— simple tokens that carried profound meaning.
More than a year-end gathering, the activity embodied the spirit of compassion and service that defines the SorSU–Bulan Campus community. By blending thanksgiving with outreach, the Union of Public Servants reaffirmed its commitment to public service that extends beyond the classroom, anchored on faith, shared accomplishments, and genuine care for the community.
