Our university places a strong emphasis on enhancing the management of intellectual property (IP) assets. The SorSU Research, Extension, and Training Office equips faculty and staff—especially those involved in technology development—with the necessary resources and information to protect their research and academic outputs through intellectual property rights. Through these efforts, SorSU aims to foster a culture of innovation and support sustainable industrial development.

SorSU inks MOA with DOST Metals Industry Research & Development Center, Talaytayan MLE Inc. & DA

The Sorsogon State University hosted a landmark Memoranda of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony with DOST Metals Industry Research and Development Center, Talaytayan MLE Inc., and the Department of Agriculture Regional Office V on May 23, 2024 at the SorSU E-Library.

The event commenced with welcome remarks from Dr. Telesforo D. Escoto (Campus Director, Sorsogon City). This was followed by an overview of the activity, providing attendees with an understanding of the purpose of the partnerships forged.
