The Admission Office headed by Dr. Sherill Gilbas, and in partnership with the Guidance and Counseling Office, conducted an orientation and training seminar for examiners from the four campuses – Bulan, Castilla, Magallanes, and Sorsogon City. The participants received salient pointers on how to best administer entrance examinations to aspiring SorSU college students who will be enrolling for the 1st semester of the Academic Year 2023-2024.
Likewise, issues regarding various situations during examinations were raised and answered by Prof. Abner Dellosa (Head, Guidance and Counseling Office) and Ms. Camila Jaylo (University Psychometrician) who helped facilitate the training.
This One-Day Admission Test is a first for the university and necessary preparations to minimize problems during the event are already being undertaken. The examiners will reconvene for training on February 9, 2023.
