Sorsogon State University – Bulan Campus and other stakeholders take part in the STAKEHOLDERS’ CONSULTATION MEETING held at Sabang Pavilion, Zone 2, Bulan, Sorsogon this October 10 at 8:00 to 11:00 a.m.
The conference was spearheaded by the Local Government Unit of Bulan along with the participation of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries from the Republic of Korea, Partnerships on Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asia, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), and other Bulan-based organizations.
The project that was discussed during the meeting, entitled “Reducing Marine Plastics in the East Asian Seas Region,” is funded by MOF and will commence in four (4) pilot areas in Timor-Leste and the other six (6) [pilot areas] in the Philippines, including the municipality of Bulan.
