In a continued effort to promote internationalization and academic excellence, Sorsogon State University (SorSU) sent a group of Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) Major in English students to An Giang University in Vietnam for an Experiential Field Learning (EFL) program held from May 12 to 23, 2025.

The two-week visit allowed SorSU students to participate in classroom observations, language and culture exchange sessions, and collaborative educational activities with An Giang University. The program strengthened their pedagogical skills and cultivated intercultural awareness.


Participating in the Experiential Field Learning (EFL) Program at An Giang University were Eyreen Angelo Pavilando, Angela Dollesin Tabale, Carlo Chavez Deladia, Cristine Agripa Mendivil, Jeryl Melitante, John Jovic Loreno, and Nelly Reyes. They were accompanied and academically mentored by Ms. Marcy Mae Calleja (Area Chair, General Education Curriculum, College of Technology) and Ms. Christine Romorosa (Faculty Member, College of Teacher Education), who supported them throughout the cross-cultural engagement.


As part of its strategic goals, SorSU continues to prioritize building international partnerships and experiential learning opportunities.
