SORSU’s BSHM and BSTM programs undergo virtual validation of full compliance with CMO No. 62, series of 2017, from CHED RO V
SorSU’s BS in Hospitality Management (BSHM) program undertakes a virtual validation of full compliance with CHED Memorandum Order No. 62, series of 2017, on October 25, 2022. Commission on Higher Education Regional Office V (CHED ROV) Program Validator, Dr. Karen I. Iniego (Education Supervisor II) will confirm if the policies, standards, and guidelines adopted by BSHM is in accordance with RA No. 7722 (Higher Education Act of 1994) and in pursuance of an outcomes-based quality assurance system. The BSTM program is scheduled for validation tomorrow, October 26, 2022.
Spearheaded by Dr. Led L. Despuig – Encinares, Dean of the College of Entrepreneurship, Management, and Accountancy, and supported by Dr. Telesforo D. Escoto (Campus Director), the activity is participated in by Dr. Jenet B. Fuentes (Director, Quality Assurance), Prof. Shirley G. Dicen (Head, ISO), Dr. Errol G. De Castro (Head, Program and Institutional Accreditation), Mr. Novie F. Evasco (Program Chair, Hospitality Management), Ms. Bernadette S. Mirate (Program Chair, Tourism Management), Prof. Abner L. Dellosa (Head, Human Resource and Management Office), Mrs. Erlinda P. Enguerra (University Librarian), Dr. Maria Lourdes G. Barrozo (University Registrar), and the BSHM and BSTM Faculty members. Dr. Jhonner Ricafort, VP for Academic Affairs, gave the welcome remarks on the first day of the event.
