Freshmen Students of Sorsogon State University – Bulan Campus from College of Information and Communication Technology (CICT) and College of Business Management Education (CBME) assembled at New Grandstand on August 26, 2023 to officially commence the First Day of NSTP-CWTS.
The event commenced with a warm welcome from the NSTP President Ms. Jeyyah Tejada and her officers, highlighting the program’s commitment to community service and civic engagement. New and returning students had the opportunity to learn about the various community projects and initiatives that the NSTP-CWTS program has planned for the upcoming academic year.
One of the day’s highlights was the election of new course officers to lead and organize student activities throughout the year. The election process was conducted smoothly, with students casting their votes for candidates who demonstrated strong leadership skills and a dedication to making a positive impact in the community.
The designation of cleaning areas was also discussed, along with other planned activities. Therefore, it was stated that this event would finish within 11 am.
