The Union of Public Servants enthusiastically joined the project implementation of selected 4th Year BPA students with partnership of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Lajong for the impactful training and seminar tagged as “PROJECT LIGTAS KABATAAN – KALIGTASAN KO AT KALIGTASAN NIYO: Identifying Hazards, Managing Risks, Securing The Future.” Effectively headed and instructed by the Bulan Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO-BULAN).
Held on October 11, 2025, at the Barangay Lajong Evacuation Center in Bulan, Sorsogon, this collective effort was a powerful step toward fostering awareness, preparedness, and resilience within our community.
From 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the event nourished the knowledge of our youth, equipping them with vital information on the risks and hazards we may encounter. The entire day was a testament to strong community bonds. Participants, committees, and instructors showcased a powerful connection, ensuring that the experience was not just about acquiring essential learning, but also about the deep fulfillment of the soul. It was a joy-filled day of collective learning and shared understanding.
And with this, together let us maintain this organized and unified movement to promote safety and awareness, deeply embedding this vital knowledge in the minds of everyone.
