The Sorsogon State University Castilla Campus (SorSU-CC) held a Thanksgiving Mass and Testimonial Ceremony on February 6, 2026, to recognize its graduates who successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) Batch 2025. The activity celebrated the achievements of the new Licensed Professional Teachers and highlighted the campus’s continued progress.

The program opened with a Thanksgiving Mass at the Farmers Training Center AV Hall, presided over by Fr. Ronald De Jesus. This was followed by a testimonial ceremony led by Prof. Andrew Detera (Campus Director, SorSU-Castilla Campus), who expressed pride in the graduates and cited improvements in campus facilities, faculty expansion, and partnerships, which contributed to better licensure examination results.


A pinning ceremony was conducted to symbolize the graduates’ readiness to serve as professional educators.


In her message, SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, commended the new teachers for bringing honor to the campus and encouraged them to uphold the university’s core values and commitment to lifelong learning and service.


The celebration emphasized the strong institutional support provided by SorSU in preparing its graduates for the licensure examination.
