SorSU-Castilla Campus undergoes Faculty Seminar and Workshop

SorSU-CC Faculty Undergoes Faculty Seminar and Workshop Gearing up its preparation for the coming academic year 2𝟶23-2𝟶24, the Sorsogon State University-Castilla Campus Faculty underwent a Faculty Seminar and Workshop. The Seminar Workshop focused on OBE Syllabus Writing, Rubrics Making, Table of Specifications Preparation, and Class Recording last August 17-18, 2𝟶23, at the Farmers’ Training Center of Sorsogon State University- Castilla Campus.

Day 1 revolved around the OBE Syllabus writing seminar for BAT, BSAB, and BSA by Agricultural Technology Program Chairperson Mr. Jobert Arcilla and Agriculture Program Chairperson Mr. Jerome Llabres. Mr. Arnold Dolosa, assigned by Dr. Milagros Ebuenga, presented the different types of Rubrics and their significance to the assessment process. Mr. Jerome Llabres, BSA Program Chair, introduced the techniques for making an effective TOS and preparation of Test Questions. Mr. Jerome Gigantoca, SAS Coordinator, discussed the topic of Class Record Preparation using a unified template for Board, GEC, and Experiential learning subjects —day one ended with a presentation of rubrics from selected participants.

Day 2 started with the HRMO updates and guidelines given by Mrs. Reynalda Duana, SorSU-CC HRMO Officer. Ms. Helen Sicad, Health Services Officer, presented updates on the safety and health protocols of the campus. Mrs. Rosallie Ballatan Gabito, SorSU-CC Registrar, gave the enrollment status for each course and year level for the coming school year. In the afternoon, the participants finalized their respective outputs. After the presentation of the OBE Syllabus per department, the awarding of certificates was bestowed upon the Resource Speakers and Participants by Dr. Milagros Ebuenga, Engr. Oscar Peter Pascual, Dr. Rose Ann Clotilde Sambo, and SorSU-CC Campus Director Prof. Andrew F. Detera. Ms. Ailyn Bertumen gave the Closing Remarks to formally close the event.
