United as a community, Sorsogon State University (SorSU), headed by its top management officials, teaching & non-teaching personnel, and SorSUeno students, heartwarmingly celebrated the birthday of its visionary, inspirational, and nurturing leader — SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus on February 5, 2024, at the SorSU Social Hall and in front of the Architectural Building for the part 2 (surprise) birthday celebration.
In her message, SorSU President Giggy expressed her deep appreciation for the the impressive celebration that the Pamantasang May Puso family has dedicated for her.
“The success of SorSU is not all because of me, but because I have the best people. Even for the past admin, there’s only one thing that they say — ‘Mahirap, pero mahiguson ang mga tawo sa SorSU.’ That is one thing that I’m really proud of you [for]. I am just here to lead you, inspire you, [and] motivate you. Rest assured that in the coming years, I’ll never change. I assure you of that.
“If you only knew how happy I am today — My family is here. My good friends are here. Kanina [A little while ago], my bestfriend was also here, and with your presence today, I could say that this is the best birthday ever… From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much!”
