The 118th Founding Anniversary of Sorsogon State University (SorSU) wrapped up with a Fun Run held on May 30, 2025, at Sorsogon Rompeolas, Sorsogon City. The program kicked off with a high-energy Zumba session that united employees from all four campuses – Bulan, Castilla, Magallanes, and Sorsogon City.

The Fun Run took place immediately after the Zumba, following a set course along the coastal road. Dubbed “Run for Fun 2025,” this activity was the concluding event of the anniversary celebration, aimed at promoting health, wellness, and strengthening camaraderie among the SorSU community.

In her closing remarks, SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus expressed her gratitude for the collaborative spirit and strong sense of identity that define the university community.

The event highlighted SorSU’s efforts to bring its community together while celebrating 118 years of service to Sorsogon and the nation. (SorSU PIO)
