The Sorsogon State University (SorSU) Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO), in partnership with the Office of Business Affairs, successfully conducted a one-day training titled “SorSU IGP Capacity-Building Bootcamp 2025: Strengthening University Sustainability through Innovation, Quality, and Service” on November 17, 2025, at the SorSU Library, Sorsogon City Campus.
Designed to enhance the competencies of personnel involved in Income-Generating Projects (IGPs), the boot camp, which commenced with remarks from Dr. Ma. Sylisa J. Estur (Chief Administrative Officer-Administrative Division), focused on equipping participants with practical knowledge in financial literacy and operational management.
Discussions included Understanding Production as a Core Function of Sorsogon State University, Financial Literacy for Non-Business Professionals: Understanding the Numbers Behind Sustainable University Production, and Operations & Inventory Management: Keeping SorSU IGPs Efficient, Accountable, and Sustainable.
