In response to the extensive impact of Super Typhoon Uwan, Sorsogon State University (SorSU) will conduct asynchronous classes from November 12 to 14, 2025, as advised in Memo No. 109, s. 2025 from the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
The typhoon caused significant disruption not only on campus but also in the surrounding communities, affecting students’ and university personnel’s homes and access to basic utilities. By extending asynchronous classes, the Pamantasang may Puso initiative provides time for recovery and ensures the safety of the SorSU community.
Regular classes are scheduled to resume on Monday, November 17, 2025. (SorSU PIO)
