October 8, 2023 — The SorSU Dance Theater and Cultural Group (DTCG) proudly participated in the Grand Opening of the Kasanggayahan Festival 2023, which was held under this year’s theme, “Kooperasyon tungo sa progresibong Sorsogon, Una an Sorsoganon.” The festival took place at the Sorsogon Provincial Gymnasium.
As a highlight of the event, the SorSU DTCG delivered a captivating performance of the courtship dance known as Pantomina, or the Dance of the Doves. Their performance, which served as the grand closing act, received widespread acclaim and showcased the rich cultural heritage of the region.
The SorSU DTCG extends its heartfelt thanks to the Sorsogon Provincial Tourism Office and Sir Bobby Gigantone, Sorsogon Provincial Tourism Officer, for the opportunity to contribute to this significant cultural celebration.
