As the beautiful month of October unfolds, we extend our heartfelt wishes of good fortune, safety, and joy to our SorSU delegates as they embark on a remarkable journey to South Korea!
Through the AgriQuest Student & Faculty Mobility Program, taking place from October 26 to November 24, 2025, this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will bring our SorSU representatives to the heart of Korean agriculture and culture.
The five-member SorSU Delegation is composed of four exemplary third-year BS Agriculture students: Roma J. Ervas (major in Agricultural Education), Milaena Khristen E. Sabado, Jesus Angelou M. Salamatin, and Roy G. Tanedo (majors in Crop Science), together with our inspiring faculty delegate, Ms. Mari Anne B. Gojar (Faculty Member and IRO Coordinator, SorSU Castilla Campus), who will proudly represent the University in this meaningful international endeavor.
Their month-long training at Dagam Farm, South Korea, through the 2025 AgriQuest Student and Faculty Mobility Program, promises to offer enriching and transformative experiences. They will learn advanced Korean farming practices while immersing themselves in the vibrant culture and language of South Korea.
This initiative stands as a reflection of Sorsogon State University’s steadfast commitment to fostering global linkages, nurturing academic excellence, and strengthening transnational partnerships between industry and academia. It also serves as a shining opportunity for our students to cultivate their professional expertise, deepen their cultural appreciation, and embrace the values of leadership and global citizenship.
