Sorsogon State University (SorSU) proudly celebrates its recognition with a Very Satisfactory rating in the 2024 Budget ng Bayan Monitor released by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).
The Budget ng Bayan Monitor, DBM’s enhanced Agency Performance Review (APR), evaluates the performance of National Government Agencies (NGAs), Constitutional Commissions, other Executive Offices, and State Universities and Colleges (SUCs). Institutions are assessed on three key areas: physical accomplishments, financial performance, and the timeliness and quality of report submissions.
This recognition underscores SorSU’s steadfast commitment to good governance, accountability, and responsible stewardship of public resources. It also affirms the University’s ongoing efforts to transform resources into meaningful outcomes for its stakeholders through quality education, research innovations, and active community engagement.
