The Sorsogon State University (SorSU), headed by SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, along with eight other higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Bicol Region, officially sealed its partnership with the Commission on Higher Education – Regional Office V (CHED-ROV) through a ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) as a Delivering HEI for the Scholarships for Staff and Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program (SIKAP) Grant, held on August 18, 2025, at the Casa Lorenzo, Daraga, Albay.
During the ceremony, Dr. Demetrio P. Anduyan, Jr., CESO III (Regional Director, CHED-ROV) delivered the welcome message. The presidents/representatives of DHEIs reaffirmed their commitment to the partnership through their respective messages.
Present also at the event were Dr. Jhonner D. Ricafort (Vice President for Academic Affairs), Dr. Susan S. Janer (Dean, Graduate School), and Ms. Marinel D. Soriano (Head, Scholarship and Financial Assistance Services Unit). (SorSU PIO)
