SorSU makes history by issuing Diplomas during its 31st Commencement Exercises and TOR ahead of the graduation ceremony

Under the visionary leadership of SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, the Sorsogon State University made history by issuing Diplomas during the graduation ceremony and Transcript of Records (TOR) ahead of the commencement exercises. The registrar’s office headed by Dr. Maria Lourdes G. Barrozo (University Registrar), carried out proactive measures to ensure an efficient process for issuing diplomas and TORs.
During the 31st commencement exercises of the College of Teacher Education and Midwifery; Castilla Campus and College of Business & Management; Magallanes Campus and College of Engineering; College of Technology; Graduate School and Bulan Campus, the Pamantasang May Puso achieved a remarkable milestone, ensuring that every graduate received their original diploma. This action not only signifies the culmination of academic achievement but also underscores the university’s steadfast commitment to maintaining high standards in academic administration.

Moreover, based on the registrar’s record, Latin Honors were conferred upon 5 percent of the graduates.

Furthermore, in a pioneering move, graduates received their Transcript of Records (TOR) well ahead of the official graduation ceremony. This proactive step underscores the university’s dedication to fostering an efficient office environment and support for its students.

By prioritizing the prompt issuance of diplomas and TOR, the registrar’s office plays a crucial role in supporting students as they transition into their post-academic pursuits. These initiatives demonstrate SorSU’s commitment to delivering exceptional service to its students. (SorSU PIO)
