Out of other nine (9) competing SUCs/institutions across the Bicol Region, Sorsogon State University (SorSU) – Marching Band & Majorettes victoriously bagged the 3rd Place in the Best Marching Brass/Wind Band (Category A) during the 13th Bicol Regional Military Parade Competition as part of the annual celebration of the Peñafrancia Festival 2023, held on September 15, 2023, in the Pilgrim City of Naga, Camarines Sur.
