Today marks the opening of SorSU Magallanes Campus annual celebration of “Fish Conservation Week 2023” from November 6-9, 2023.
Anchored on the theme “Masaganang Pangisdaan, Mauland na Ekonomiya”, the program is graced by Prof. Lynn C. Mendoza, Campus Directior and Mr. Francisco P. Dollesin, OIC, BFAR PFO and alumnus of this institution. Also attended by SorSU personnel and students. The series of activities are spearheaded by Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences Guild (FASG) with Mr. Abel Arevalo, adviser.
Highlights of the activities are :
Seminar on Fisheries Resources and Marine Pollution, Search for Ms. Grand Fisheries, Fish Lantern Competition, Fish Trivia and Coastal Clean-Up.
