SorSU President De Jesus connects with Castilla Campus’ student leaders in kumustahan meeting

To foster an open dialogue between the university administration and the student body, SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, led a kumustahan meeting with the student leaders of SorSU-Castilla Campus on January 20, 2026.

In her message, SorSU President De Jesus highlighted that leadership encompasses significant responsibilities and corresponding duties. “I am here today to remind you about your responsibilities as student leaders,” she remarked.

The President encouraged collaboration between student organizations and the administration, emphasizing the shared goal of promoting student welfare and development through various initiatives and reiterating the administration’s full support in these efforts.
Dr. De Jesus also reflected on the university’s identity as the Pamantasang May Puso (University with a Heart). She urged the student leaders to contribute to the well-being of their classmates, the broader community, and the university itself.

“In simplest ways, let us help,” she remarked, underscoring that collective effort and commitment are crucial in achieving their shared goals.

An open forum session followed, providing an avenue for students to voice their queries and concerns about academic and administrative matters.
