Sorsogon State University (SorSU) SUC President III, Geraldine F. De Jesus, attended the investiture of Dr. Joane V. Serrano as the 5th Chancellor of the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) on July 30, 2025, at the UPOU International Convention Center (ICC), Los Banos, Laguna.
The investiture ceremony was officiated by Atty. Angelo A. Jimenez, the President of the University of the Philippines (UP).
